Mother Earth® Coco is made in Holland and is RHP certified. What is RHP?

Since 1963, RHP has been the European knowledge & certification center for potting soil, substrates and growing media used by Dutch and European growers, professional horticulturists and consumers. If you are a grower and consider the quality of your finished product of paramount importance, you have found the right certification entity at RHP.

The RHP quality mark applies for substrate producers, substrate suppliers, extraction and production sites of raw materials. Companies that work according to the requirements of the product certification scheme RHP quality mark, are allowed to use the RHP quality mark for a product for which they are certified. The product certification scheme RHP quality mark contains the requirements, with which the RHP certified products have to comply.

The certification of companies and products is executed by a Certifying Body (in Dutch: Certificerende Instelling (=CI)) which has been acknowledged for the RHP scheme. The CI and auditor have to comply with requirements concerning knowledge, experience and matter expertise. Expert assessment of processes, raw materials and products are extremely important, as it concerns product certification at the RHP quality mark.

RHP certification assures growers their substrate/growing media meets the strictest quality and consistency standards that many of the largest growers in the world demand.
